Operators must complete daily operations reports for each skid steer tractor used
Operator must understand the operation of the tractor hoist system and winch systems necessary to raise and lower ladders for access to and egress from hopper barges
Operator must fully recognize hazards associated with a barge unloading operation and take appropriate steps to ensure they and all personnel working in the barge unloading operation adhere to safe operating rules and policies
Know and understand duties and responsibilities in the event of an emergency evacuation or man overboard emergency
Operator must take an active role in recognizing excessive emissions from the barge Unloader or ship loading spouts and notifying the Unloader operator
Operator must possess the ability to recognize and identify the various grains and grain by-products
