Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
At least 2+ years of experience in control panel design for various applications
Proficiency with CAD software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent tools.
Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, motor control, drive packages, VFDs, and related control systems.
Demonstrated experience creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings for control panels.
Ability to perform electrical calculations, including load analysis, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations.
Working knowledge of industry standards and codes related to control panel design and electrical systems, including NEC, IEC, UL standards, and specifically UL 508A.
Hands-on experience applying the National Electrical Code (NEC) to control panel and power distribution designs.
Familiarity with low-voltage systems, including 480V applications for motors, pumps, and related equipment.
Experience with electrical design for control panel solutions, including packaged drive packages and motor control systems.
Competence using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent CAD tools for control panel design.
