3D CAD proficiency: SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, CATIA
2D drafting: AutoCAD
Configuration control: PDM/PLM tools (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE)
Drawing practices: ability creating detailed drawings, BOMs, and applying GD&T
Marine integration mindset: knowledge of shipboard installation constraints (space, access, weight/COG impacts, corrosion protection, maintainability)
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with electrical, controls, production, procurement, and shipyard teams
