Ability to draft in AutoCAD
Holding a minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline with a focus on power
Basic understanding of one-line and three-line drawings, control schematics, and point to point wiring diagrams
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related area
Proficient with electrical design and circuitry
Basic understanding of power system and relay applications as applied to products
Basic understanding to being very proficient with power distribution equipment (three phase systems, relays, transformers, control switches, etc.)
Able to apply applicable sections of the National Electric Code and other codes and standards such as IEEE, ANSI and UL in day-to-day activities
The Engineer level requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 0-3 years of relevant job-related experience
Basic knowledge of 480V through 38kV electrical distribution and switchgear operation
The Senior Engineer level requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 4-8 years of relevant job-related experience
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an Engineering role
Basic understanding to being very proficient at drawing reviews (i.e., acquired knowledge of specification items that Powell should take exception to and specification items that require special attention; able to accurately interpret client specifications, etc.)
The Lead Engineer level requires bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 7-10 years of relevant job-related experience
