Must successfully complete all company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining McCoy's forklift certification
Forklift operator certification
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Successful completion of on-the-job training; completing levels 1 and 2 of the positional training offered
Prolonged periods of standing and moving around the yard and warehouse
Must be able to use the three point hold when getting into trucks and/or forklifts
Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds, and push and/or pull 50 pound loads at a time
The ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods
May need to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work in various types of weather

3–5+ years of industry experience
Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and utility-location awareness
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and job specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew
Proficiency operating heavy equipment
Willingness to perform labor tasks when equipment operation is not required
Ability to adapt, solve problems in the field, and support continuous improvement within the crew
Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safe work practices
Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed
