Experience with metal molds.
Able to safely operate surface grinders, hones, knee mills, engine lathes, drill presses, saws, conventional EDM, and various fixtures
Able to use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and various gages to inspect mold components to close tolerances
Able to read blueprints and inspect mold components to very close tolerances
Able to solve molding problems and improve mold design
Able to read, interpret reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
Comply with all company policies, procedures, quality management systems, and environmental, health, and safety regulations
Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, handling, feeling, talking, listening, hearing, vision, and depth perception
May require lifting up to 75 pounds
Minimum of a High school diploma/GED (a technical certificate in Tool Making or Injection Molding is a plus, but not required)
Four years experience building/repairing molds or running CNC equipment (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
Requires working knowledge of injection mold form, fit, and function
Safety Certifications: LOTO, Machine Guarding, Respiration Program
