3+ years of experience working as a maintenance or electro-mechanical technician in an automated manufacturing or industrial environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Electrical Expertise: Hands-on experience with AC/DC circuits, control panels, wiring, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and three-phase power systems (up to 480V)
Mechanical Expertise: Solid understanding of mechanical power transmission, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and fluid power systems (pneumatics and hydraulics)
Ability to work in dusty, wet, hot, or cold environments for extended periods
Requires prolonged sitting and standing, bending, stooping, and climbing
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard
Requires a normal range of hearing and vision (including the ability to distinguish colors) to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reporting
Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds
Experience with PLCs, motors, VFDs, conveyors, and automated systems
Read & Interpret Schematics: Analyze electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to locate and resolve system issues
Installation & Calibration: Install, align, and calibrate new electromechanical components, sensors, actuators, and production machinery
Document all maintenance actions, parts used, and repairs in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
