State Compliance: Must meet state specific guidelines for the role, including immunizations, required health and safety training, CPR/ First Aid Certification, and fingerprint clearance through the DOJ
Experience: Must have experience in a licensed child care facility
Educational Background: Must have a high school diploma or GED, meet state specific guidelines for role, including, but not limited to, Infant and Toddler ECE component
At least 1 year of center leadership/management experience

Caregiving Skills: Ensure that children are safe and that their everyday needs are met – this may include diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Caregiving Skills: Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting
Caregiving Skills: Model and encourage good social skills, e.g. strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Physical Resilience: Ability to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Physical Resilience: Work in outdoor/indoor conditions
Possess a current Texas Child Care Director or Associate credential or the ability to obtain one
Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
Physical Resilience: Use of a stool or ladder to reach high places as necessary
