Assembler - 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)

High School diploma or equivalency
Preferred 1+ years experience in assembly operations
Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, work orders, specification sheets, and short correspondence
Ability to communicate with other associates to share information, solve problems, and train
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions
Ability to use adjustable measuring instruments such as torque wrench and special gauges, where interpretation is required
Ability to operate various machines and equipment to include hydraulic press, test tanks, pallet jacks, hoist, parts washer, grinders, and various hand and hand powered tools
Requires knowledge of material characteristics and assembly procedures
Requires basic computer skills
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and/or move 5 to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
Must be able to adhere to safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Must be able to obtain training on 1st shift for period of up to 6 weeks (as noted: may need to train on 1st shift)
