BS, MS, or PhD degree in electrical engineering with a focus in power systems design
B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in power systems
BSEE and 4 or more years of relevant experience or MSEE and 1 or more years of relevant experience
Experience with power system design consisting of circuit analysis and simulation, component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, and verification testing
Design of DC/DC and AC/DC power systems ranging from 500 W to 50 kW for use in harsh operating environments
Experience with implementation of high availability power supplies and/or failover systems
Comprehensive knowledge of electronic power devices such as MOSFETs, Schottky Diodes, SiC FETs, and IGBT's
Proven experience designing with electromechanical actuators, DC/DC converters, power amplifiers, and magnetics
Experience troubleshooting electronic systems
Basic understanding of Matlab aided data analysis
Experience or familiarity with electronics assembly, wiring, crimping, soldering a plus.
Proficiency with electronic laboratory test equipment including digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, function generator, digital voltage and current measurement probes
Travel to support on-site testing up to 25%
