Highschool or GED
Must possess basic math skills, understanding of decimals and fractions for measurement.
Ability to read and write English for assembly directions, Work Order packets and safety instructions.
Completion of basic Safety Orientation
Must have good knowledge and experience in basic mechanical maintenance, electronics, wiring schemes and electrical work and how they work together.
Ability to braze.
Must have great knowledge in electrical safety.
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics and use a variety of different tools such as a Volt Meter, Hipot and Calipers.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to100 pounds.
The position may require off shift and weekend work, along with overtime.
The operator may work with engineering, managers and lead techs on maintaining flow to the lines.
The operator will be required to work around live low voltage and high voltage, so electrical safety knowledge is a must.
Must possess basic ability to read schematics and use a Volt Meter, Hipot and Calipers.
