Leads and/or participates in Eaton's continuous improvement initiatives, such RIEs and VSM events.
Supervise in-house installations, coordinate, and perform machine/assembly process runoffs, and conduct capability analyses.
Ability to perform work with little or no direct supervision.
Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, and A3) used to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel.
The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds.
The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip.
The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
Ability to research and lead projects that implement various Industry 4.0 technologies, including robotics, automation, data digitization, etc.
Budgetary/cost analysis experience.
Identify and execute cost-out initiatives through productivity improvements.
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
