Maintenance Engineering Technician

Hands-on experience maintaining laboratory, analytical, or biological research equipment.
1+ year of hands-on maintenance experience supporting laboratory, clinical, research, or manufacturing equipment.
3+ years of maintenance experience with demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and maintain multiple types of laboratory instrumentation.
Strong documentation skills and experience using a CMMS.
Knowledge of pipetting system calibration, fluidics troubleshooting, optical systems, and laboratory equipment preventive maintenance.
Familiarity with biological laboratory safety practices and containment procedures.
Experience with one or more of the following equipment: • Automated liquid handlers (Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman) • Plate readers (BioTek, Molecular Devices, BMG) • PCR/qPCR systems • Automated cell culture platforms • Flow cytometers • Imaging systems
