High School Diploma or GED
Two years of professional experience as a maintenance mechanic working with a variety of machinery or equipment
Knowledge of mechanical theory and practice
Broad knowledge of occupational hazards and safe work practices
Experience with or the ability to learn and apply all applicable requirements pertaining to hazardous waste operations
Knowledge of plumbing including PVC, copper, plastic, steel, and soldering
