A bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum 2-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial setting.
A solid working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety programs, PPE, EPA requirements, and accident/injury investigation practices.
Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and investigations.
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Experience developing, implementing, and improving safety programs, procedures, and protocols.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data and prepare reports.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and workplace hazard recognition.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to influence others, drive change, and promote a strong safety culture.
Program ownership, incident investigation, auditing, and cross-functional leadership is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHMM, or CIH are a plus.
