Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and a minimum of five years related work experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
OR Associates Degree in a relevant field and ten years related work experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
ISO 9000, ASME NQA-1 or equivalent industry standardized Quality Management System (QMS) knowledge and experience
Experience dealing with government or other regulated industry contract review and interpretation
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and design specifications
Knowledge of inspection gages and gauging practices
Knowledge of typical manufacturing processes including, welding, weld inspection, NDE, conventional and CNC milling and turning
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Proficient in the use of document management software
Formal training and experience with corrective action/problem-solving, preferred
