Registered as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
For Clinical Dietitian I: May be registry eligible, but must pass the RD exam within the first 6 months of employment in the position
Maintenance of Registered Dietitian status with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
CPR training for those practising in the outpatient nutrition clinic
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited college or university
For Clinical Dietitian I: Less than one (1) year of experience providing nutrition care in an acute care setting
For Clinical Dietitian II: One or more years of experience providing nutrition care in an acute care setting as a Registered Dietitian
Cannot provide nutrition care to end stage (dialysis) renal patients until one year post registration
Work weekends as assigned by supervisor
Travel to satellite clinics (e.g. Stony Point, Hanover, etc.) when needed, as determined by supervisor

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good reading and writing skills, and ability to perform basic to advanced mathematical calculations.
