Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Multitasking skills are essential.

Comprehensive knowledge of custom brokerage and other government agency regulations, harmonized tariff schedule of us, general import/export procedures, and company's general operating procedures.
Customs broker's license preferred.
Strong customer service orientation.

In-depth knowledge of customs and other government agency requirements specific to individual indus- tries and products.
Fundamental understanding of ms word and excel.
Ten (10) years industry experience in brokerage preferred.
Demonstrated organizational skills should include leadership, problem solving, and ability to work quickly, accurately and thoroughly with attention to details.
Proficient at resolving complex import issues through utilization of well developed analytical, research, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
Adept at communicating effectively in writing, over the phone and in person.
