Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring of control panels, or rotating equipment manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
Ability to identify and work with electrical components (breakers, disconnects, starters, relays, overloads, timers, etc.)
Proficiency with wire sizes from 18 AWG up to 1/0 AWG
Skilled in the use of hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, cutters), air driven tools, and torque wrenches
Ability to lift to 45 lbs. on a consistent basis
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Organized work habits and ability to maintain clean, efficient workspaces
Ability to work collaboratively or independently
Documents and charts test results as required
Operate and use hand tools and shop machines required for production
Understand production wiring techniques and assembly of turbine engines
Understand and recognize electrical parts, components, and their operations
Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical and related equipment
Run conduit and perform wire terminations according to drawings
Work with National Electrical Code
Work with hazardous areas and intrinsically safe areas in conjunction with turbines and associated equipment
Operate and understand Motor Control Centers, Fire and Gas systems, Generator Control and Vibration
High School Diploma or GED OR 10+ years of relevant industrial electrician experience
