Blueprint reading: The ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) and weld systems.
Statistical Process Control (SPC): Applying mathematical concepts and software to track quality trends and identify recurring production issues.
Physical strength and stamina to lift up to 50lbs.
Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
Understanding of Quality Management Systems and working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not be limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
Strong understanding in blueprint reading/geometric tolerancing interpretation (GD&T.;
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events that may result in being required to work overtime or weekends.
Must possess basic math skills.
