Red Seal Mechanic
Inter Provincial Red Seal certificate required – Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport (Commercial Transport).
High School /Secondary School diploma or equivalent.
Clean driver's abstract.
Computer proficient in Microsoft programs – required.
Experience in electrical and hydraulic repair and failure diagnosis.
Experience with Detroit Diesel, Mercedes, CAT power plants.
A strong safety background is a must.
Must be willing to travel and be able to work outside in all conditions.
Capable of working in a heavy equipment environment a must.

Must have 5+ years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
An Associate's Degree or equivalent technical qualification, and/or experience.
Strong mathematical skills and mechanical reasoning
Experience with various measuring tools is preferred.

Install, Troubleshoot, Maintain and Repair PLC and/or DCS Hardware, Software and Controls
Maintain 480/240 Volt 3 phase MCC and Power Distribution Systems
Replace Electrical Control Devices (Limit, Proximity and Photo Switches, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Valves, etc.)
Move and set up equipment as needed
Wire equipment and electrical drops within a high voltage area
Install and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic industrial equipment
Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with equipment operation
