Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling and/or fork lift operations preferred
If hostler/yard mule duties required, experience preferred
Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights several times a week, to lift dock plates weighing approximately 100 pounds, and to open trailer doors requiring approximately 75 pounds of lift force, up to several times per day or more
Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing/pulling freight throughout shift
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
Previous dock/warehouse experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort, including lifting and handling laundry, and standing for extended periods.
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes repetitive use of both hands, both arms, standing for long periods of time, visual discernment of items and defects. Utilization of computer, phone, and machine set-up and use.
Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
Utilizes proper PPE and complies with all facility safety and infection control practices to minimize exposure to blood borne pathogens.
Throughout all laundry process, caregivers in this position are required to identify and work with leaders and co-workers on opportunities for process improvement.
