Equipment selection – Determining the proper tools and equipment for a specific job
Mathematics and Measurement – Properly determine lengths and Yield of raw materials
Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents and drawings
Problem Solving – Using tools available to solve manufacturing issues
Complete required tasks as instructed by management in a timely manner
Must be able to setup and operate a Manual Lathe and Manual Mill
Safety – Having awareness of one's personal safety and of the people around you. Using the proper PPE (Protective Eyewear/Welding Hood, Hearing protection, Hand Protection and Respitory Protection)
Problem Sensitivity – The ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong. This involves alerting a manager of a problem and assisting with the corrective action needed.
Task Completion – The ability to complete tasks in a fast paced environment, within specified time constraints.
Cost Consciousness – Aware that the materials used in the manufacturing process are often very expensive and that waste and/or mistakes detract from overall productivity, profitability and profit sharing.
Coordination-The ability to adjust actions in relation to others actions.
