Associate degree in a technical field
Minimum of 2 years' QC inspection experience in an ASME manufacturing environment preferred
A minimum of 5 years QC inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Comparable level or education and experience in a related technical field (subject to QA management review)
Formal training, experience, or certification in welding or weld inspection preferred
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in written form with all levels of personnel within the organization (employees, customer inspector, management, etc.)
Ability to perform simple algebraic, geometric and trigonometric calculations
Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform inspection, testing and documentation activities for multiple ongoing projects.
Computer knowledge skills appropriate for position include Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Limited travel to customer or vendor locations, as well as other Alfa Laval Sites may be required.
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
