Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida, or PE in another state with the ability to obtain Florida licensure within six months of employment.
Continued employment contingent upon obtaining all required Florida professional licenses and certifications within six months of start date.
Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering, including design of steel, concrete, and wood structures.
Experience performing condition assessments and evaluating corrosion in steel structures.
Demonstrated proficiency with structural analysis and design software, as well as standard office and administrative applications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA-3D.
Skilled at presenting complex technical information to partners and stakeholders who may not have an engineering background.
Proficient, independent worker with strong multi-tasking abilities, able to manage multiple priorities without close supervision while remaining effective and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated problem-solver with the ability to offer new perspectives on existing solutions and mentor colleagues with less experience.
Dedication to continuing education and ongoing training to maintain and expand technical and professional skills.
Flexibility to work some nights, weekends, and holidays based on project needs.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited curriculum.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license as described above.
