Associates degree in an Engineering Field (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or a High School diploma and 2 years technical experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of LEAN and ergonomic concepts, regarding reach, positioning, and placement of hand, wrist, and arm during assembly processes a plus
Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools (i.e. Drill/Drivers, Track Saw) as well as operate horizontal and vertical band saw, drill press, and miter saw
Milling/Lathe experience is a plus
Ability to read and understand a basic tape measure - metric and standard
Demonstrates safe work practices
Regular physical activity, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing ladders, using lifts, and working in confined spaces
Be quality and precision-driven, and able to follow all quality and safety requirements
