Valid Florida class A or B commercial driver's license OR ability to obtain Class A or B Permit with air brake endorsement
Journeyman Electrician
Experience with power distribution, generation systems and associated controls
Experience in power distribution system substation operations and protection systems and devices
Experience operating power distribution systems with nominal ratings of 69 kV, 12 kV, 5 kV and below
Understanding of OSHA and industry standard lock-out tag-out safety procedures
Experience in industry standard switching and tagging procedures for high voltage transmission and distribution
Ability to read electrical schematics to aid in control system troubleshooting of power distribution systems
Possess the ability to interpret blueprints
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

1-3 years of experience and 2,000 in field hours in traffic control
Must be able to pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check
Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements
Wear proper PPE: safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest)
Basic reading and writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork, and knowledge of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations
Must be able to read plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented and maintained
Good knowledge of state and local roadways and experience operating delivery vehicles of varying sizes
Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds. Lift regularly throughout the shift
Must successfully complete the ATSSA TCT intermediate training course
Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects
Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule
