Valid Real ID is a requirement for this position
Minimum of 3 years of commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare HVAC maintenance and repair experience
Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems and associated equipment
Experience repairing and replacing motors, compressors, thermostats, and other HVAC components
Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, humidity control, and indoor air quality systems
Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
Ability to work on ladders, at elevated heights, and in confined spaces
Ability to work in hot environments and around moving machinery, chemicals, refrigerants, oils, and other occupational hazards
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Ability to wear an OSHA-approved respirator when required and successfully complete required fit testing
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, eye protection, hearing protection, and approved face protection
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; the background check extends past 7 years
