Customer Service Representative - Manufacturing
Writes quotes for requested projects
Works independently to follow-up with clients about quotes issued and maintain status in DCRM
Works closely with Project Manager and lab to ensure quotes accurately reflect client needs
Priced to be profitable and competitive
Processes both Domestic and Non-Domestic Orders using the current ERP System and Export System Softwares
Processes both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous orders
Maintains GPC's quality goals and objects related to Customer Service
Provides customers' information about products or services, takes or enters orders, cancels accounts, or obtains details of complaints
Ensures full customer satisfaction and maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor
Identifies and prioritizes problems and issues related to service area
Maintains close contact with customer to give updates on progress toward resolution of issue or service request
Ensures that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems
Refers unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation
Processes applications, releases, cancellations, adjustments, changes, requests, fees, invoices and other related paperwork
Keeps records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
Maintain Customer files

A valid driver's license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English language
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact
Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
Spend approximately 90% of time outdoors in all seasons, with potential exposure to inclement weather
Exposure to moderate noise levels
The ability to travel door to door for extensive periods through local communities
Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum's offerings
Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting
Monitor competitors' activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager
