Proficient computer skills
Knowledge in HTS classification & familiar with the harmonized tariff system
Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations & other federal regulations and requirements with respect to specific area of expertise
Handle time sensitive work
Detail oriented
MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner) required
Air trans: department of commerece & treasury regulations such as export licensing & schedule b tariff classifications
12 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience required
Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations & other federal regulations and requirements w/respect to specific area of expertise (chb, air trans, ocean trans, surf trans) as applicable depending on functional department
Regulations regarding dangerous goods shipping & foreign regulations
Chb: proficient in H.T.S. Classification & familiary with the harmonized tariff system
