Strong computer proficiency, including experience with AS/400 shipping and inventory control systems and/or JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP modules, or a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to build strong working relationships
Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and productivity assessments
Non-climate controlled warehouse environment
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of three (3) years of proven supervisory experience required
Must be able to occasionally lift 60 pounds
Oversee onboarding and training of new employees and continuous development of existing staff
Lead and supervise employees across multiple locations and shifts
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organization
Interpret, communicate, and enforce company policies, safety standards, and procedures
Strong mathematical skills with excellent analytical and reasoning abilities
Determine staffing and productivity needs; provide training or retraining as required
Three (3) years of distribution or warehouse operations experience preferred
Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities across all assigned locations
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations related to interstate transportation of materials
Work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, varying shifts, and multiple locations as needed to meet business objectives
Walking or standing required a significant degree of the time
Ensure compliance with all safety rules, environmental regulations, and MSDS requirements
Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, or a related field preferred
Maintain full compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Recommend and initiate personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures
