Minimum five (5) years of sheet metal fabrication experience, preferably in marine or defense manufacturing.
Experience fabricating ventilation systems or similar precision sheet metal assemblies.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Working knowledge of MIL STD 1688, MIL STD 1689, NAVSEA Technical Publications 248 and 278, and applicable PPD documentation.
Ability to successfully pass a NAVSEA regulated TIG welding performance qualification prior to hire, consisting of thin gauge aluminum and steel welds in the 2G and 3G positions.
Ability to use common fabrication tools, measuring equipment, and shop machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to federal contract requirements.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
Ability to obtain and maintain access required to perform work supporting U.S. Government contracts.

Bachelors or Registered Apprentice (grad) or HS + 5 years related trade experience (in the trade to be supervised)
