Strong knowledge of basic and detail ship design process and modern shipbuilding methods.
Employment in this position is contingent upon passing the medical examination.
Travel domestically and internationally, as required, to support vendor coordination, inspections, or design resolution activities.
Experience with electrical system or electrical design and construction.
Proficiency with MS Office and CAD systems, such as AutoCAD, Aveva Marine(AM).
Experience with Classification Society Rules for New Construction, IMO Regulations, and US Coast Guard Requirements as well as International experience or familiarity with European and/or Asian Shipbuilding Standards.
Experience with electrical outfitting, cable routing, equipment foundations, and shipboard installation practices.
Minimum 7 years' experience in shipbuilding, system design, or manufacturing.
Knowledge and experience concerning basic and detail ship design.
Knowledge and experience concerning modern shipbuilding practices.
Experience supporting production and resolving field installation issues.
