The applicant must be a current member of the Utah Army National Guard or be eligible for immediate membership in the Utah Army National Guard.
Must be able to enlist in or transfer to the Utah Army National Guard immediately.

Compatible Military Assignments: OBR: 88A, 90A, 91A, 92A WMOS: 890A, 920A, 920B, 91, 94
National Guard Membership is required.
Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
Soldiers who accept a technician position may be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP).
