Safety Management System Coordinator

Safety Management System (SMS) certification and experience in an aviation, aerospace, or other safety-sensitive environment; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of two years of progressive experience in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Quality, Compliance, or a related field.
Internal Auditor certification or demonstrated experience conducting audits, maintaining records, and preparing compliance reports.
Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS), aviation safety principles, and human factors.
Working knowledge of applicable regulations, including FAA regulations, OSHA requirements, and labor code compliance.
Experience with ISO 9001 or other recognized quality management systems.

Associate degree in Electronics and/or Networking, or career equivalent required
General knowledge of electronics required
Strong understanding of Networking fundamentals
Excellent written and oral skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Working Knowledge of MS Office and basic PC skills
Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Willing to obtain or have State License as required. (State Dependent)
Must have a mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools
Will maintain an inventory of parts stock for our customers; including ordering parts to always have on-hand and shipping used parts after use
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly
Must be capable of working independently or as a team
Ability to complete all JCI required EAS and Video trainings and certifications
Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
Able to read and interpret blueprints and Scope documents
Ability to mentor and train others
Ability to perform service on more complete integrated solutions
