Minimum of one-year experience, preferably in a hospital or nursing home or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities required.
Knowledge of policies and procedures concerning resident care and the ability to administer the procedures correctly.
Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
Must be proficient in the use of a computer for input of resident information, record keeping, communications as directed by management and any additional computer-generated departmental needs.
Ability to effectively communicate with Residents, family members, guests, vendors, other department heads, team members and regulatory agencies.
