High school diploma or GED (will need for wastewater certification)
Valid driver's license with no major infractions
This position typically holds a first level water/wastewater treatment certification (can obtain within 18 months of hire)
Will be required to get a class I wastewater certification within 18 months
Operate valves and gates either manually or by remote control, starts and stops pumps, engines and generators to control and adjust flow and treatment processes.
Observe and report abnormalities to supervisor.
Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels.
Collect samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses.
Possess a basic understanding of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to enter data into a maintenance management system and Google sheets.
