High School diploma or GED
Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical assembly experience or as a machine tool builder, preferably in defense, aerospace, or heavy industry
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Detail-oriented and consistent
Works well as a productive member of a team
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment
Requires strong mechanical aptitude
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing
Occasionally: stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, lift up to 50 pounds
Frequently: use hands to handle or feel inspection tools and equipment
Continuously: maintain focus and attention to detail during inspections
Highly repetitive: use of hand tools and machinery
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small and large components with precision
Visual acuity to read blueprints, work instructions, and inspect parts for quality
Work performed in a manufacturing/plant setting in close proximity to others
Tolerance for moderate noise, vibration, and exposure to oils, solvents, or other manufacturing materials (with proper PPE provided)
Requires use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and slip resistant shoes
