High School Diploma or equivalent required
Possess a good knowledge of the manufacturing processes
Proficient written and oral communication skills essential for the role
Ability to take initiative and anticipate needs, work independently with minimal guidance
Ability to Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and varying specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations
Ability to visually inspect output to ensure conformance with print specifications
Read and interpret complicated drawings and/ or prints to determine dimensions and tolerances
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all machines as instructed
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media as required
Maintain accurate production records
Possess 5-7 years of experience in Panel benders (automatic machines)
Possess 5-7 years of experience in Punching machines
Possess 5-7 years of experience reading and interpreting complicated drawings
Possess 5-7 years of experience operating CNC, lathes, gear making equipment, manual single and multi-access vertical and horizontal machining centers
CNC programming skills
SAP experience preferred
Vocational or Technical training/certification or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, machining, or a related technical field is preferred
