Three (3) to Ten (10) years of related experience
Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel required.
Must pass precertification company welding test.
The position requires a working knowledge of technical to include 1689 and 1688.
Must have own basic skill related tools and equipment if not supplied by the workplace.
Proficient in SMAW, GMAW-P, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes as well as Direct Energy Arc Process (i.e. Stud Shooting).
Experience with performing structural and pipe welding for various material types (e.g. OSS, HSS, HY-80/100, CRES, CUNI, NICU & ALUM), combination welds (e.g. OSS to CRES, CUNI to CRES, etc.), and various joint designs.
Proficient at reading blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time.
Ability to identify and measure material.
Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses.
Ability to prep, fit and weld with minimal to no supervision.
Ability to repair broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of parts.
Utilizes hand tools such as grinders, drills, needle guns, saws, calipers, scribes, combination squares.
