Entry-Level Machinist
Basic ability to read a tape measure, calipers, or other measuring tools
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Prior experience in manufacturing, machine operation, metal fabrication, warehouse, automotive repair, or other hands-on mechanical work preferred
A willingness to learn machining skills
Reading and interpreting blueprints and production drawings

Lifting 40 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Verifies proper quality documents and other paperwork is present prior to start of work
Completes Dimensional reports and machine logs for all items machined
Operates a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts
Communicates with supervisor, planners, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel as it relates to the job
Necessary PPE should be worn at all times as per JHA and task requirement
Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
