Proficiency in operating manual and CNC OD/ID grinders.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of OD/ID grinding experience in a precision manufacturing environment, preferably in gear production.
Safety Consciousness: Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Attention to Detail: Ability to hold tolerances within ±0.0001" and achieve high surface finish requirements.
Strong understanding of grinding wheel selection, dressing, and balancing.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve machining issues and improve processes.
Work Ethic: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols on blueprints.
Knowledge of various materials, including hardened steels, and their grinding characteristics.
Skilled in using micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and CMMs for precision measurement.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years setting up and operating Manual VTLs and manual lathes
Willingness to learn basic CNC programming
Strong mathematical aptitude
Strong knowledge of GD&T;
Experience machining plasma coatings and K/E seals on rotating aircraft parts
Experience with machines such as Mazak, Mori-Seiki, and Leblond
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
3–5 years of aerospace machining experience required
High School Diploma or GED required
