Possess High School Diploma or GED equivalency
5 or more years of experience working as a mechanic in a fast-paced, continuous manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience using control and regulating devices to adjust and maintain industrial equipment
Welding, fabrication, and carpentry skills
Demonstrated skill in working with pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Must be able to safely operate mobile equipment
Ability to use hand tools
Must be able to work in non-heated and non-air conditioned environments
Must possess basic computer skills for email & required reports
Ability to pass basic mathematics, reading, locating information and technology comprehension assessments
Ability to work rotating shifts
Ability to work weekends
Self-starter who can function in a semi-autonomous environment
Must be able to climb in, on and around industrial machinery (conveyors, catwalks, dryers, etc.)
