High school diploma or GED preferred
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm MST
40 hours/week
MIG and Gmaw-P welding with daily job rotation across the weld shop
Set up welding machines and follow Welding Procedure Specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to meet precise welding requirements
MIG weld steel and aluminum components to specification
Clamp, tack-weld, grind, and fit component parts for welding
Sustain 6-S standards in your work area and perform routine machine maintenance
Flag problems early and participate in continuous improvement activities (Team Meetings, 5 Whys, Kaizen, PDCA)
Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) a plus

Ability to deescalate tense situations
Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of building components and equipment
Ability to be outside in all weather-types
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organizational and time management skills
OSHA requirements and all applicable Idaho state and federal standards
Monitor and ensure safety and compliance with all policies, procedures and guidelines
Keep detailed fire watch logs and respond immediately to hazards or emergencies
Document activities through daily and weekly reports and complete incident reports as needed
Monitor badge scanning during meal services
Observe vehicles for leaks, spills, or environmental concerns
Monitor all entry and exit points to ensure controlled access
Perform general cleaning, organizing, and facility upkeep as needed to maintain a safe and orderly camp environment
