This is a full-time, 100% on-site position based in Austin, Texas.
Candidates must be local to the Austin area or willing to relocate prior to their start date.
This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.
Applicants requiring current or future visa sponsorship are not eligible for employment in this position.
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; OR Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology.
Six (6) years of progressive biomedical or clinical engineering experience.
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic experience supporting biomedical equipment and clinical technologies.
Experience working in large, complex healthcare environments.
Knowledge of medical device maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.
Experience supporting medical equipment, asset management, and clinical engineering operations.
Ability to support multiple priorities while working independently and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for travel between clinical sites.
