BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Understanding of lean manufacturing tools and methodologies
Ability to understand and utilize CAD, PLM, and ERP software
Desire to work hands-on, both independently and as part of a team, throughout the development and production phases of the product lifecycle
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in office, lab, and shop floor environment; occasional lifting of up to 25-50lbs; ability to perform testing & evaluation functions in an enclosed environmental chamber.
Working knowledge designing and improving manufacturing processes, yield and productivity improvements, and cost reductions
History leading small or medium sized projects and/or programs
Ability to work independently and drive change in both processes and products
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and must be able to document, summarize, and present to senior leadership
Minimum of five years of experience in Manufacturing engineering related field
Experience with fabrication and assembly processes, work order creation/management, BOM structures, and quality control
Working knowledge of GD&T; (ASME Y14.5)
