High school diploma or GED
3-6 years of experience in an MRO environment
Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
Able to read and thoroughly understand technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and instructions
Expert with hand tools
Fully proficient with general electrical soldering and/or circuit board level soldering
Proficient in inspection, testing, and repair of most units in the department
Experience using a computer
Valid driver's license
Techniques to follow instructions and work according to written procedures concisely and accurately
The technician candidate must own their own set of basic hand tools
This position is safety-sensitive and requires participation in the FAA DOT Drug Abatement Program
Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing required
A pre-employment technical skills and comprehension test may be administered
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Constant hand manipulation of small to medium components
Sitting or standing for long periods of time
Frequent use of hand tools and other repair equipment
Use of chemicals for cleaning, lubricating, and painting
