We are seeking a Quality Engineer to work on-site at one of the following locations: Kingsford, MI, Iron River, MI OR Rhinelander, WI with travel between plant locations as needed.
3+ years of experience in a quality related role.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing (weld/machining) environment.
H.S. diploma required
Familiarity with a formal Quality Management System.
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with precision tools and measuring equipment.
Ability to function independently of direct supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
ISO led auditor certified
Or ability to obtain lead auditor qualification.
Job often requires long hours of sitting/computer usage.
Requires the ability to walk, push, pull, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
