Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
13+ years of experience in mechanical design
Proficient in the use of industry standard mechanical engineering design tools (SolidWorks, AutoCad, Creo, Ansys, ICEPAK, Mechanica etc.)
Candidate must be able to work with limited/general direction.
Proficiency with MS Office software applications.
Must hold or be able to obtain U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Ability to travel up to 25%, both international and domestic.
Able to lead team of up to 5 mechanical engineers to develop and document mechanical components and assemblies.
Proficient at understanding and driving requirements traceability in a model-based systems engineering environment.
Strong Earned Value (EV) skills, including Cost Account Manager (CAM) activities.
As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

PhD in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong fundamental background in combustion, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and applied mathematics.
