High School Diploma or GED or 10+ years relevant experience with Stainless Steel Welding.
5+ years relevant experience in Welding and fabricating of Stainless-Steel pipe for the Assembly of Rotating Equipment Packaging and testing.
Experience and trained in welding and cutting tools and processes.
Inspects repairs, replaces, installs, and maintains all mechanical components, assemblies on gas turbines and compressor associated packages.
Unless otherwise specified in contractual documents or engineering drawings, qualification of pipe WPSs and welding personnel shall conform to ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code. (GTAW P8 6G - must pass test)
Reads and interprets drawings and schematics.
Weld, tack and certify mechanical welding as required. Work and operate cutting rigs, welding machinery and measuring tools.
Review, Interpret complex Assembly instructions, specs and blueprints.
Able to use and understand computers.
Inventory, clean and visually inspect all components and stage all equipment needed for assembly and safely offload incoming parts off transport using proper lifting/ rigging equipment and technical questions
